BLESSED HAIRS OF ALLAH’S MESSENGER (SALLALLAHU ALAIHI WA SALLAM

The blessed hairs of Allah Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi ve Sallam) were preserved by his Companions. Here is a tradition.

Hazrat Imam Bukhari (Rahmatullahi Alaih) and Hazrat Imam Muslim (Rahmatullahi Alaih) recorded
through Hazrat Anas (Radiyallahu Anhu) that Allah’s Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) performed Hajj and offered sacrifice, then he called a servant for shaving his head.

First, he asked to remove the hairs from the right side, called Hazrat Abu Talha Ansari (Radiyallahu Anhu), and gave him the hairs. Then he asked to shave the hairs on the left side and gave it
to Hazrat Abu Talha Ansari (Radiyallahu Anhu). Then Allah’s Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) asked Hazrat Abu Talha Ansari (Radiyallahu Anhu) to distribute the hairs among the people.

Hazrat Anas (Radiyallahu Anhu) says that whenever Allah’s Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa
Sallam) used to cut his hairs, Hazrat Abu Talha Ansari (Radiyallahu Anhu) was the first person to take them: (Bukhari Sharif)

Hazrat Anas bin Maalik (Radiyallahu Anhu) says that he saw the hairs of Allah’s Messenger
(Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) were being cut and the Companions were encircling him. All of them wished that every blessed hair should get in someone or the other’s hands. (Muslim Sharif)

These traditions make it very clear that the Companions honored and
respected the blessed hairs of Allah’s Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi
Wa Sallam), and preserved them with great care. Only those people
who have enmity with Allah’s Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa
Sallam) can speak against his blessed hairs.

Do you know that people used to take treatment for diseases with the blessed hairs? Here is a tradition in support of our statement. The mother of faithful, Un Mu’minnen, wife of Allah’s Messer

Another companion and servant of Allah’s Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa
