How to Remove Numbering from Some Pages in Word
In today’s post, we will show you how to remove numbering from some pages in Word.
Open the document you need.
Go to ‘Layout’ tab at the top of the window. Click on ‘Breaks’ under ‘Page Setup’ and choose ‘Next page’. Scroll down to the next page and click on the footer. Click on the ‘Link to Previous’ in the top of a page. Delete the number in the footer, in our case, it’s four. You can see the page has number 3, and the next page is without a number.
Put the mouse pointer in the beginning of page 5 and click on ‘Page Number’ and choose ‘Bottom of Page’ and then ‘Plain Nuber 2’. You can see the page has number again. Select the page number you need, right-click on it and choose ‘Format Page numbers’.
Go to ‘Page numbering’ and check ‘Start at 1’ and click ‘Ok’. You can see the numbering now begins from the fourth page. If you scroll up, you can see all above pages have their own numbering.
