SURAH FALAQ AND NAAS

SURAH FALAQ AND NAAS

Both these Surah are short and easy to remember.

However, these Surahs are immensely beneficial. Hazrat Abi (Radiyallahu Anhu) Bint Ka’ab reported Allah’s Messenger y Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) as saying, “The one who recites Muadhdhatain (i.e. Surah Falaq and I Surah Naas), it is as if he recited all that is revealed to Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam).” Hazrat Abi (Radiyallahu Anhu) Birn Ka’ab reported Allah’s Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) as saying, “Should I inform you about two Surahs if you recite them then everything that exists would plead to the Almighty Allah, O Allah! Sand these Surahs guide its receptors to Paradise. (Nuzhatul  Majaalis)

Keep one thing in mind. Whatever you recite, any Surah or verse or verses of the Holy Qur’an or any other Du’aa you should recite it regularly. Do not give it up after a few days or months. It is not necessary that you should recite it a huge number of times every day. You may recite it a few times like three times, seven times, eleven times, etc., but practice it regularly. If you feel that you won’t be able to recite it every day then you may do it on a particular day of the week. Read this tradition.

Hazrat Ayesha (Radiyallahu Anha) reported Allah’s Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) as saying, “The acts most pleasing to Allah are those which are done most continuously even if they amount to little.” (Bukhari Sharif, Muslim Sharif)
