1. Mubarak Wilaadat Aur Ibtidaai Zindagi

Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishty (Radhiyallahu Anhu) ki wilaadat-e-ba-sa’adat 536 Hijri (corresponding to 1141/1142 CE) me Chisht ke mukaddas shahar me hui, jo Sistan (Sajistan, East Persia) me waaqi hai [1].

Jis daur me Aap ki wilaadat hui, us daur me dunya-e-Islam ka aman-o-amaan poori tarah se tabaah ho chuka tha. Sistan aur uske aas-paas ke ilaqon me barbar Tartariyon (Tartars) aur deegar baghiyon ne behad khoon-kharaba aur tabaahi machayi hui thi.

In bad-maashon ne Sultan Sanjar ki kamzor hukoomat ka poora fayda uthaya, jiske baais aam logon ki jaan, maal aur aabroo hamesha sakht khatre me rehti thi. In zaalim Tartariyon ne musalmanon ki 600-saal purani tehzeeb aur tamaddun ke mawaaqe ko neest-o-nabood kar diya tha.


2. Hijrat Aur Neshapur Me Mubarak Qayaam

Sistan me lagatar hone wale in siyasi fitno aur tabaahi ke baais, ek din Aap ke waalid-e-giraami, Hazrat Khwaja Ghiyasuddin Hasan (Alaihir Rahmah), ne faisla kiya ke wo Sistan chor kar kisi safe (mehfooz) jagah par hijrat kar jayein. Unhone apne poore khaandane ke sath Sistan se Neshapur ki taraf hijrat ki.

Neshapur un dino me us poore ilaqe ka darul-hukoomat (capital city) tha aur behad khush-haal shahar tha. Ye shahar deeni, ilmi aur maashi sargarmiyon ka azeem markaz tha. Wahan mashhoor “Nizamia” University waaqi thi, jisme ek behad qeemti library thi, jisme mashriqi adab ka nayab tareen khazana moujood tha.

Neshapur me bade-bade parhezgar Ulama aur Masha’ikh rehte the, jo dunya bhar se aane wale talaba ko ilmi aur roohani roshni se nawazte the. Wahan bade-bade tabeeb (physicians), naye-naye dastar-kaar (artists) aur behtareen grape orchards (angoor ke baag) the. Shahar ke ek hisse ko Rewand kaha jata tha jo apne angoor ke baagon ke liye behad mashhoor tha.

Hazrat Khwaja Ghiyasuddin Hasan (Alaihir Rahmah) ne isi shahar ke kareeb ek baag aur ek windmill (pawan-chakki) khareedi, taaki wo wahan sukoon ke sath apni zindagi guzar sakein.

“Man proposes but God disposes” — Sukoon Ki Talaash

Jis sukoon ki talaash me Hazrat Khwaja Ghiyasuddin Hasan (Alaihir Rahmah) ne Neshapur ki taraf hijrat ki thi, wo sukoon is bade shahar me bhi naseeb na ho saka. Yahan bhi log maut aur zindagi ke beech lagatar tabaahi ke saaaye me jee rahe the.

Bahaadur Sultan Sanjar lagatar sarhadon par Tartariyon ke sath ladaai me busy the aur unhe peeche dhakelne me nakaam rahe the. Sultan ki shahar se lagatar gair-moujoodgi ke baais administrative system bilkul tabaah ho chuka tha.

Androoni taur par, ‘Qarmti’ aur ‘Baatani’ firqon ke baghi (jinke ek sathi ne pehle hi mashhoor Wazeer Nizamul Mulk ka qatl kiya tha) apne thikanon se nikal kar dunya me baghaawat ki aag baddh-ka rahe the. Ye hathiyar-band daku logon ko loot rahe the aur masoomon ka qatl-e-aam kar rahe the.

Hazrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaz (Radhiyallahu Anhu) ne ye bhayanak tabaahi bachpan me hi apni aakhon se dekhi thi. Lekin tabaahi ka ye silsila yahi khatm nahi hua.

551 Hijri me, Aap ke waalid-e-giraami, Hazrat Khwaja Ghiyasuddin Hasan (Alaihir Rahmah) ka saaya Aap ke sar se uth gaya. Aur isse bhi zyada takleef-deh baat ye thi ke Aap apni pyari waalida ko pehle hi kho chuke the.

Ab Khwaja Saheb dunya me bilkul akele rah gaye the. Agarche baap ke wirse (legacy) me unhe kafi zameeni zariya aur maal-o-daulat mila tha ke wo apni zindagi aasaani se guzar sakein, lekin Neshapur ki tabaahi aur waalidain ke chale jaane ke dukh ne unhe gahri soch me daal diya. Wo aksar dunya ki is tabaahi ko dekh kar koshish karte the ke sabr aur bahaduri ke sath is dukh ko jheleinn. Wo ek hardworking jawan the aur apne baag ki dekh-bhal khud apne hathon se paudhon ko paani dekar kiya karte the.

Khorasan Ki Dobara Tabaahi

Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin ke waalid ke wisaal ko abhi ek saal bhi poora nahi hua tha ke fitna-parast Tartariyon ne ek baar phir Khorasan par hamla kiya aur wahi khoon-kharaba, loot-pat aur tabaahi dobara machayi.

Is martaba Sultan Mahmood (jo Sultan Sanjar ke bhai the) ne unhe rokne ki koshish ki magar wo bhi nakaam rahe. Neshapur dobara tabaah ho gaya aur in waaqiat ne Khwaja Saheb ko bilkul dismayed (pareshaan) kar diya.

Wo aksar ghante-ghante baithe rehte aur is baat par gaur karte ke is fitne aur tabaahi se dunya ko kaise nijat dilayi jaye aur unki tender heart is tabaahi se behad dukhi hoti thi.

Azeem Deeni Mission Ke Liye Chuna Jaana

Hum masoom aur kamzor insan Allah ki marzi ko kabhi poori tarah se nahi samajh sakte. Allah ta’ala ne Khwaja Saheb ko dunya ki ye tabaahi dikha kar unhe ek behad mukaddas deeni mission (mission of reform and peace) ke liye tayyar kiya. Allah ne unke dimaag ko unexpected roshni se nawaza.

Dunya me jab bhi zulm, zyadati aur lalach hadd se zyada badh jata hai, to Allah hamesha dunya me apne saviours (rehbaron) ko bhejta hai taaki wo Satanic forces (shaitaani taqaton) ka radd karein aur logon ko seedhe raaste aur mohabbat ki taraf bulayeinn.

Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishty (Radhiyallahu Anhu) ghante-ghante is tabaahi par gaur karte, jiske baais unka dunya ke mawaaqe aur luxuries se dil poori tarah se uth chuka tha aur wo is mad world se door hone ka rasta talaash karne lage.


4. Hazrat Ka Shajra-e-Nasab

Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishty (Radhiyallahu Anhu) ka talluq Huzoor (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) ke daamad aur chachazad bhai, Sher-e-Khuda Hazrat Ali (Karramallahu Wajhahul Kareem) ke mukaddas khaandane se hai.

  • Aap ki waalida-e-giraami, Syeda Bibi Ummalwara (alias Bibi Mahe-Noor), Syed Daud ki saahabzaadi thin.

  • Aap ka pitri shajra (paternal genealogy) Hazrat Imam Husain (Radhiyallahu Anhu) se milta hai, aur Aap ka matri shajra (maternal genealogy) Hazrat Imam Hasan (Radhiyallahu Anhu) se milta hai. Aap “Najeeb-ut-Tarafayn” Syed hain.

5. Huzoor Ghous-ul-Azam Se Roohani Rishta

Khwaja Gharib Nawaz (Radhiyallahu Anhu) aur Huzoor Ghous-ul-Azam Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (Radhiyallahu Anhu) ke darmiyan ghanisht rishta hai.

Dono aapas me matri chachazad bhai (maternal cousins) hain. Ek aur rishte ke mutabik, Hazrat Shaikh Mohiuddin Abdul Qadir Jilani (Ghous-ul-Azam) Hazrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaz ke maternal uncle (mamu) lagte hain.

Hazrat Shaikh Mohiuddin Abdul Qadir Jilani Hazrat Abdulla al-Hambli ke pote (grandson) hain. Doosri taraf, Hazrat Khwaja Sahib ki waalida, Hazrat Bibi Mahe Noor, Hazrat Abdulla al-Hambli ki poti (granddaughter) thin. Is tarah, Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Hassan Chishty ki waalida, Hazrat Ghous Pak (Radhiyallahu Anhu) ki cousin lagti thin.


6. Peero-Murshid Usman Haruni Ki Khidmat

Jab Khwaja Saheb ne us daur ke mukammal uloom haasil kar liye, to unho ne ek aali-darje ke spiritual guide (Peero-Murshid) ki talaash me dunya bhar me safar kiya.

Aap ko us daur ke sabse bade aalim aur munaazir, Hazrat Khwaja Usman Haruni (Alaihir Rahmah) ke baare me maloomat mili. Aap pehli hi mulaqat me poori tarah se apne Murshid ke saaye me dakhil ho gaye.

Hazrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaz ne lagatar bees (20) saal apne Peero-Murshid ki khidmat ki, unke safar-o-hazar me sath rahe, aur roohani darjaat haasil kiye. Is tarah, azeem Murshid ne Khwaja Saheb ko spiritualism ke aala tareen muqam par pahunchaya.


7. Hajj-e-Baitullah Aur Rasoolullah (SAW) Ka Hukm

Jab Khwaja Saheb roohani taur par bilkul accomplished (mukammal) ho gaye, to unke Peero-Murshid ne unhe spiritual robe (khilafat) se nawaza aur unhe apne sath Hajj-e-Baitullah ke liye le gaye.

Dono mukaddas hastiyon ne Makkah pahunch kar Hajj ada kiya, aur phir Madinah Shareef tashreef laaye. Wahan unho ne Huzoor (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) ke roohani faiz ko haasil karne ke liye kuch daur qayaam kiya.

Madinah Shareef me qayaam ke dauraan, ek raat roohani trance (haal) me, unhe mukaddas Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) ki taraf se ye hukm-e-ilaahi mila:

“O Moinuddin! Aap hamare deen ke azeem pillar (sahara) hain. Aap Hindustan (India) tashreef le jayein aur wahan ke logon ko seedha rasta dikhayeinn.”

Is mukaddas roohani hukm ki taameel karte hue, Khwaja Saheb ne Madinah se India ki taraf hijrat shuru ki. Aap Isfahan, Bukhara, Herat, Lahore, aur Delhi hote hue aage badhe, jahan raste me Aap ne us daur ke mashhoor Sufis se mulaqat ki.

Aap Rajputana ki barren aur desolated (banjar) zameen par tashreef laaye, jise aaj dunya Rajasthan (Ajmer Shareef) ke naam se jaanti hai. Raste me lakhon log Aap ke hath par mureed hue aur hazaron ko Aap ne roohani shaktiyon se nawaza.


8. Khwaja Saheb Ka Ajmer Shareef Aana

Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chisty 587 Hijri / 1190 AD ke kareeb Ajmer Shareef tashreef laaye [1]. Aap ka ye mission dunya-e-Islam ki tareekh me bilkul unique hai. Aap ke pas is fatah ke liye koi talwar ya fauj nahi thi; Aap ka hathiyar sirf aur sirf Allah ki “invisible power” thi jo poori dunya ko chala rahi hai.

Us daur me Ajmer par mashhoor Rajput raja, Prithvi Raj Chauhan ki hukoomat thi. Uske darbar me naye-naye jadugar the, jinka leader Ajai Pal tha.

Khwaja Saheb ne Ana Sagar lake (lake) ke kareeb ek pahadi par qayaam kiya, jise aaj dunya “Chilla Khwaja Saheb” ke naam se jaanti hai. Jab shahar me ye khabar pheli ke ek behad parhezgar aur azeem Dervish Ajmer aaye hain, to log badi taadad me Aap ki khidmat me hazir hone lage.

Aap ke darbar me jo bhi aata, wo Aap ki saadgi aur mohabbat se mutasir ho jata. Boht se logon ne Aap ke akhlaq ko dekh kar Islam kabool kiya. Yahan tak ke unka sabse bada jadugar, Ajai Pal, Aap ke aage haar gaya aur jadugari chor kar Aap ka mureed ban gaya.

Isi dauran, Shahabuddin Ghori ne 1192 AD me dobara India par hamla kiya aur Tarain ke azeem maidaan me Prithvi Raj ko shikast di. Jab Ghori ko Ajmer me Khwaja Saheb ki moujoodgi ka pata chala, to wo khud hazir-e-khidmat hua aur Hazrat ke roohani faiz se nawaza gaya.

Khwaja Saheb ne apne deeni mission ko jari rakha aur deen ke sitaron (successors) ko dunya bhar me bheja. Aap ke mashhoor successors (Khulafa) ye hain:

  1. Hazrat Khwaja Qutubuddin Bakhtiar Kaki (Radhiyallahu Anhu) (Delhi, d. 1236)

  2. Hazrat Shaikh Fariduddin Ganjshakar (Radhiyallahu Anhu) (Pakpattan, d. 1265)

  3. Hazrat Shaikh Nizamuddin Auliya (Radhiyallahu Anhu) (Delhi, d. 1325)

  4. Hazrat Shaikh Nasiruddin Chirag Dehlvi (Radhiyallahu Anhu) (Delhi, d. 1356)


9. Mubarak Shadiyan Aur Pious Aulaad

Hazrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaz (Radhiyallahu Anhu) ka bachpan behad musibat aur hardships me guzar tha. Unhone apni jawani deeni uloom ki talaash me guzar di thi.

Jab Aap ki umr thik pachaas (50) saal ke kareeb pahunchi aur Aap Ajmer me settle ho chuke the, to Aap ne khwab me mukaddas Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) ko dekha, jinhone farmaya:

“O Moinuddin! Aap ne Allah ke saare hukm ada kiye magar meri Sunnah (marriage) ko kyun ada nahi kiya?”

Iske baad, Hazrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaz ne do shadiyan farmayin.

Hazrat Ki Pious Aulaad (Children):

1. Hazrat Khwaja Fakhruddin (Alaihir Rahmah):

Aap Khwaja Gharib Nawaz ke sabse bade saahabzaade the. Aap ek azeem aalim aur saint the. Aap ka wisaal Sarwar town (Ajmer se 40 miles door) me hua. Aap ka Mubarak URS har saal 6th Shaban ko poori aqeedat ke sath manaya jata hai.

2. Hazrat Khwaja Hissamuddin (Alaihir Rahmah):

Aap Hazrat ke doosre saahabzaade the. Aap bhi ek azeem parhezgar the, jinhone self-purification (apne nafs ko saaf karne) ke liye sakht dars-o-tadrees kiye. Thik 45 saal ki umr me Aap logon ki aakhon se ghaib (disappear) ho gaye aur roohani dunya me dakhil ho gaye.

3. Hazrat Khwaja Ziauddin Abu Sayeed (Alaihir Rahmah):

Aap Khwaja Gharib Nawaz ke sabse chote saahabzaade the. Aap ka Mubarak Mazaar-e-Shareef dargaah ke premises me hi moujood hai.

4. Hazrat Bibi Hafiza Jamal (Alaihir Rahmah):

Aap Huzoor Gharib Nawaz ki akeli saahabzaadi thin. Aap behad parhezgar thin, jinhone hazaron khawateen (women) ko deen-e-haq ka seedha rasta dikhaya. Aap ka Mubarak Mazaar Gharib Nawaz ke roza-e-mubarak ke kareeb hi moujood hai.

Hazrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaz ki direct family shajra teen generations ke baad aage nahi badhi. Roza-e-mubarak ki saari deeni khidmaat unke Khadims ne anjaam din, jiske azeem saboot Mughal Badshah Akbar aur deegar Moghals ke Farmans aur Abul Fazl ki Akbar Nama me moujood hain.


10. Wisaal-e-Shareef Aur Roza-e-Mubarak

Sultan-ul-Hind Hazrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaz ne apne deeni mission ko poori tarah se kamyab karne ke baad, aur Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) ke saare hukm ada karne ke baad, 6th of Rajab 633 AH (corresponding to 16th March 1236 CE) ko is fani dunya ko alwada kaha. Wisaal ke waqt Aap ki umr thik sattaswe (97) saal thi [1].

Aap ko usi Mubarak kamre (Hujrah) me dafn kiya gaya jo Aap ki deeni sargarmiyon ka markaz tha. Aaj Aap ke is mukaddas roze ko poori dunya “Dargah Khwaja Saheb, Ajmer” ke naam se jaanti hai. Dunya bhar se, bina kisi jaat-paat, mazhab ya aqeede ke bhed-bhaav ke, lakhon log har saal Aap ke darbar me haazir hote hain aur unki aakhon se mohabbat ke aansoo behte hain. Ameer ho ya gareeb, sab ek sath khade hokar is mukaddas roohani shaqsiyat ko khiraaj-e-aqeedat pesh karte hain.


Mubarak Concluding Dua

Allah ta’ala apne Pyare Habeeb, Sayyiduna Muhammad (Sallallaho Alaihi wa Sallam) ke sadqe me,
Aur Sultan-ul-Hind Hazrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaz aur tamaam Auliya Allah ke waseele se,
Hum sabhi ko mukammal aur pakka Ishq-e-Rasool ataa farmaye, hum sabke Eimaan ki hifazat farmaye, aur sabko nek a’maal karne ki taufiq ataa farmaye.
Aur sabhi ko dunya aur aakhirat me kamyaabi ataa farmaye aur sabki har nek aur jaa’iz muraad ko poora farmaye.
