Namaz ada karne ke liye Wazu (Wudu) karna farz hai. Wazu sirf jism ki safai ka zariya nahi, balki yeh gunaahon ko dhone aur Allah ki raza haasil karne ka ek behtareen amal hai. Bina wazu ke namaz, tawaaf ya Quran Majeed ko choona jaiz nahi hai.

Wazu Ke 4 Faraiz (Zaroori Arkaan)
Wazu ka tarika shuru karne se pehle, yeh janna bohot zaroori hai ke wazu mein 4 farz hote hain. Agar inmein se ek bhi chhoot gaya, ya baal barabar jagah bhi sookhi reh gayi, toh wazu nahi hoga:
- Pura Chehra Dhona: Peshani (forehead) ke baalon se lekar thuudi (chin) ke niche tak, aur ek kaan ki lo se lekar dusre kaan ki lo tak pura chehra dhona.
- Dono Baazu Dhona: Dono hathon ko kohniyon (elbows) samet dhona.
- Sar Ka Masah Karna: Chauthai (1/4th) sar ka masah karna (geele haath pherna).
- Dono Paon Dhona: Dono paon ko takhno (ankles) samet dhona.
Wazu Karne Ka Step-by-Step Sunnat Tarika
Niche diya gaya tarika Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki sunnat ke mutabiq hai:
1. Niyat Karna
Wazu shuru karne se pehle dil mein niyat karein. Niyat dil ke irade ka naam hai ke aap paki haasil karne aur ibadat ke liye wazu kar rahe hain. Zaban se kehna zaroori nahi, lekin dil mein khayal hona zaroori hai.
2. Bismillah Parhna
Wazu shuru karte waqt “Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem” parhein.
3. Dono Haath Gatto (Wrists) Tak Dhona
Pehle dono hathon ko gatto (wrists) tak 3 martaba dhoyein. Pehle daaya (right) haath dhoyein, phir baaya (left) haath dhoyein. Ungliyon ke darmiyan khilal karein (ungliyon mein ungliyan daal kar saaf karein) taake paani har jagah pahunch jaye.
4. Miswak aur Kulli Karna
- Agar miswak hai toh miswak karein, yeh bohot badi sunnat hai. Agar miswak na ho toh ungli se daanto ko saaf kar lein.
- Uske baad seedhe haath se 3 martaba kulli (gargle) karein. Agar roza na ho toh garara (gargle) bhi karein taake paani gale tak pahunch jaye.
5. Naak Mein Paani Daalna
- Seedhe (right) haath se 3 martaba naak mein paani dalein (paani ko narm haddi tak upar kheinchein).
- Ulte (left) haath ki choti ungli se naak saaf karein. (Agar roza ho toh paani zyada upar na kheinchein).
6. Pura Chehra Dhona
Apne pure chehre ko 3 martaba dhoyein. Paani peshani ke baalon se shuru hokar thuudi ke niche tak aur dono kano ki lo (earlobes) tak pahunchna chahiye. Agar dadhi (beard) ghani hai, toh baalon mein ungliyon se khilal karein.
7. Dono Baazu (Arms) Kohniyon Samet Dhona
- Pehle apna daaya (right) baazu kohni samet 3 martaba dhoyein.
- Phir apna baaya (left) baazu kohni samet 3 martaba dhoyein. (Dhyan rahe ke kohniyon ka pichla hissa aksar sookha reh jata hai, wahan paani achi tarah pahunchayein).
8. Sar, Kano Aur Gardan Ka Masah Karna
Dono hathon ko dobara geela karein.
- Sar ka masah: Dono hathon ki 3-3 ungliyon (shahadat aur anguthe ko chhor kar) ko mila kar sar ke agle hisse se piche tak le jayein aur hatheliyon se wapas aage layein. (Yeh 1 martaba karna hai).
- Kano ka masah: Shahadat ki ungli (index finger) se kano ke andar ka hissa saaf karein aur anguthe (thumb) se kano ke piche ka hissa saaf karein.
- Gardan ka masah: Hathon ki pusht (back of the hands) se gardan (neck) par pherein. (Gale ka masah karna makrooh hai, sirf back of the neck par karein).
9. Dono Paon Takhno (Ankles) Samet Dhona
- Aakhir mein apne dono paon takhno samet 3 martaba dhoyein.
- Pehle daaya (right) paon dhoyein, phir baaya (left) paon dhoyein.
- Paon ki ungliyon ke darmiyan baayein (left) haath ki choti ungli se khilal karein, taake koi bhi jagah sookhi na reh jaye. Ediyon (heels) ko achi tarah mal kar dhoyein.
Wazu Ke Baad Ki Dua
Wazu mukammal karne ke baad aasman ki taraf dekh kar Shahadat ki ungli uthayein aur Kalma-e-Shahadat aur yeh dua parhein:
Kalma-e-Shahadat: “Ash-hadu allaa ilaaha ill-Allahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa rasooluhu.” (Tarjuma: Main gawaahi deta hoon ke Allah ke siwa koi ibadat ke layaq nahi, Woh akela hai, Uska koi shareek nahi. Aur main gawaahi deta hoon ke Muhammad (S.A.W) Uske bande aur Rasool hain.)
Wazu ke baad ki Dua: “Allahummaj-‘alnee minat-tawwaabeena waj-‘alnee minal mutatahhireen.” (Tarjuma: Aye Allah! Mujhe zyada tauba karne walon mein aur khoob paak o saaf rehne walon mein shamil farma.)
Wazu Todne Wali Cheezein (Nawaqis-e-Wazu)
In kamo se wazu toot jata hai aur dobara wazu karna zaroori ho jata hai:
- Pishab (Urine) ya Pakhana (Stool) karna ya hawa kharij hona.
- Jism ke kisi hisse se khoon (blood) ya peep nikal kar beh jana.
- Muh bhar kar ulti (vomit) aana.
- Tek laga kar ya let kar gehri neend so jana.
- Namaz mein qahqaha laga kar (zor se) hasna.
- Be-hosh ya pagal ho jana.
Pro Tip: Wazu karte waqt paani ko bilkul barbad na karein. Nalkay (tap) ko zaroorat ke mutabiq kholiye kyunki paani zaya karna Islam mein napasandeeda amal hai. Wazu duniya aur aakhirat dono mein roshni aur paaki ka zariya hai.
