Dua for the start of Ramadan: “Allahumma baarik lana fi Ramadan” (O Allah, bless us in Ramadan).
Dua for breaking the fast: “Dhahaba al-zamu wa btallatil-‘uruq, wa thabata al-ajru insha Allah” (The thirst has gone, the veins are moistened, and the reward is confirmed, if Allah wills).
Dua for forgiveness: “Astaghfirullah” (I seek forgiveness from Allah).
Dua for the night of Laylat al-Qadr: “Allahumma innaka afuwwun tuhibbul-afwa fa’fu ‘anni” (O Allah, You are Most Forgiving and You love forgiveness, so forgive me).
Dua for protection from the Hellfire: “Allahumma ajirni minan-naar” (O Allah, protect me from the Hellfire).
Dua for increase in knowledge and wisdom: “Allahumma fawwazni ‘ilma” (O Allah, increase me in knowledge).
Dua for guidance: “Rabbi zidni ‘ilma” (O my Lord, increase me in knowledge).






Dua for protection from evil: “Allahumma inni a’udhu bika minal-khafiyyin wa ‘alaa bika wa bikal-islaami deen” (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from evil thoughts and actions, and I take refuge in You and in the religion of Islam).
Dua for the night of Laylat al-Qadr: “Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa’fu ‘anni” (O Allah, You are Most Forgiving and You love forgiveness, so forgive me).
Dua for relief from difficulties: “Allahumma inni as’aluka rahmataka wa hayatika min khalqika” (O Allah, I ask You for Your mercy and Your life from Your creation).
Dua for protection from Shaytan: “A’udhu bi kalimat Allah il-tammati min sharri ma khalaq” (I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil that He has created).
Dua for the Prophet’s intercession: “Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa ‘ala aali Sayyidina Muhammadin wa sallim” (O Allah, send Your peace and blessings upon our master Muhammad and upon the family of our master Muhammad).
Dua for strength and guidance: “Allahumma ihdini feeman hadayta wa wazifani feeman wajjahta wa tawallani feeman tarajjahta” (O Allah, guide me to those You have guided, give me strength to those You have given strength, and turn me away from those You have turned away).
Dua for the end of Ramadan: “Allahumma innaka afuwwun tuhibbul afwa fa’fu anni” (O Allah, You are Most Forgiving and You love forgiveness, so forgive me).

Dua for the first ten days of Ramadan: “Rabbighfir li warhamni wa anta khairur-raahimeen” (My Lord, forgive me and have mercy on me, and You are the best of those who show mercy).
Dua for the middle ten days of Ramadan: “Allahumma ajirni minan-naar” (O Allah, protect me from the Hellfire).
Dua for the last ten days of Ramadan: “Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil aakhirati hasanatan wa qina adhaban-nar” (Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter and protect us from the punishment of the Hellfire).

“Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa ‘ala aali Sayyidina Muhammadin wa sallim”
Translation: “O Allah, send Your peace and blessings upon our master Muhammad and upon the family of our master Muhammad.”
This dua is a way of seeking the intercession of the Prophet and his companions and asking for their blessings and guidance. During Ramadan, many Muslims increase their recitation of this dua as a way of seeking the Prophet’s guidance and drawing closer to him.
It’s also common to recite this dua after every prayer, as well as to recite it as a standalone dua, especially during the night of Laylat al-Qadr, when it is believed that the blessings and rewards of one’s supplications are multiplied.

Dua for sustenance: “Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil aakhirati hasanatan wa qina adhaban-nar” (Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter and protect us from the punishment of the Hellfire).
Dua for increased devotion and worship: “Allahumma aatini al-imaan wa zakiyatahu wa aqimi al-salaata wa aatini al-Qur’an” (O Allah, give me faith and make it pure, and cause me to perform the prayer and give me the Qur’an).
Dua for protection from the trials of life: “Allahumma inni as’aluka min khairi ma sa’altu wa a’udhu bika min sharri ma ja’altu” (O Allah, I ask You for the good of what I have asked and I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done).
Dua for peace and tranquility: “Rabbana aaminna faghfir lana warhamna wa anta khairur-raahimeen” (Our Lord, believe in us and forgive us, and You are the best of those who show mercy).
Dua for increased devotion and obedience: “Allahumma inni as’aluka al-tawfiqa ila ma taa’lamu wa al-huda wa al-noor” (O Allah, I ask You for the ability to do what You know, for guidance, and for light).
Dua for the end of Ramadan: “Allahumma innaka afuwwun tuhibbul afwa fa’fu anni” (O Allah, You are Most Forgiving and You love forgiveness, so forgive me).
Dua for increased blessings and rewards: “Allahumma inna nas’aluka min fadlika” (O Allah, we ask You for Your favor).
