Hadith Sharif on Sustenance and Gratitude
If you commit any sin, repent immediately. Repent secretly for secret sins and publicly for public sins. [Kanz al-Ummal, Hadith 10176]
Sustenance (Rizq) searches for a person like a person’s death searches for him. [Musnad al-Bazzaar, Vol. 10, Page 37, Hadith 4099]
Seeking Halal (lawful) earning is Jihad and Allah likes a person who joins a profession. [Ibn Abid Dunya, Vol. 1, Page 71, Hadith 204]
One should stick to the means whereby he gets sustenance. [Shu’ab al-Iman, Vol. 2, Page 89, Hadith 1241]
