How to Add a LockPW

Step 1: Go to the LockPW extensions page by clicking on this link. Alternatively, you may look for it in the Chrome Web Store.

Step 2: On the extension’s page, click the Add to Chrome button. After installing the extension, a new tab will appear with a page. Here you may learn how the extension works and how to prevent Chrome from utilizing it on the page. You can read it and then press the Next button.

Step 3: Clicking the next button will lead you to the Additional settings page. For the first time, you will notice a password entry box on the right side.

Step 4: As you can see, I have typed the password as well as the password hint. Finally, click Save, and the password protection will be activated. To disable the protection, click the power button, and it will be switched off.

Step 5: You can add extra settings like as Auto-lock, Logging, Hotkeys, and many more.
