How to Change Language in Word

 

In today’s lesson, we will teach you how to change language in Word 2019.
Open Word document you need.

Click on ´File´ at the top left corner. Select ´Options´. Choose ´Language´ from the left side menu. Click on ´Get more display and Help languages from Office.com´

It will automatically open the web browser with a web page you need. Scroll down and select the language from the drop-down list. Click on ´Download´ next to the language. Select the version suitable for your Windows system.

Open the downloaded file. Click on Yes in the pop-up window. Wait until it´s ready. Click on ´Continue´ in the pop/up window. Click Ok. It will restart the Word app.

Click Ok in the pop-up window. Close the window. Wait until the installation is done. Click on Close.
Open the Word file you need. Click on ´File´ at the top left corner. Select ´Options´. Choose ´Language´ from the left side menu.

Go to Display Language. Select the one you just installed. Use the arrows to move the language on top of the list. Repeat the same actions for Help Language. Click Ok. Click OK in the pop-up window. Restart the app and enjoy.
