How to Open File Explorer as Admin in Windows 11

 

In today’s tutorial, we will teach you how to open File Explorer as Admin in Windows 11.
Right-click on the windows icon on your taskbar. Choose Run from the list.

A new window will open. Go to the description box below this video. Copy the address. Paste into the run window. Click Ok. File Explorer will open under Admin rights.

We will show you another way to run File Explorer under Admin rights. Right-click on the windows icon on your taskbar. Choose Task manager from the list. A new window will open. Click on File at the top left corner of the window. Choose Run new task from the list. Type explorer.exe Check Create this task with administrative privileges. Click Ok. File Explorer will open under Admin rights.

Final option is to use File explorer. Open it. Go to This PC. Open your System drive. Go to Windows folder. Look for explorer folder. Right-click on it and choose Run as administrator from the list. Click on Yes in the pop-up window. File Explorer will open under Admin rights.
