Let’s do it. Go to Cortana search line and type “control panel”. Click on it. Choose ‘Change input methods’ under ‘Clock, language, and region’ category.
Go to ‘Advanced settings’ on the left side menu. Click on ‘Change language bar hot keys’ under ‘Switching input methods’ category.
Click on ‘Change key Sequences’ in the new window. Check the key combo you prefer to use. We went for ‘ ‘Ctrl+Shift’ [Control+SHift]. Click ‘Ok’, ‘Apply’ and ‘Ok’. This way we changed the key shortcut for switching keyboard language.
Note, that the welcome screen settings did not change. To do that, go to ‘Apply language settings to the welcome screen, system accounts, and new user accounts’ under ‘Override for Windows display language’ category. Click on ‘Copy settings’. Check ‘Welcome screen and system accounts’. Click ‘Ok’ and ‘Ok’ one more time.
